TUESDAY 16TH - LAST DAY

 

As you may have gathered, not much happened yesterday. We were proposing to go to the nearby Maritime Museum before heading to the airport but it was closed so our only activity yesterday was a slightly more wide ranging walk around Daiba, the area where our hotel is located.

After an uneventful transfer to the airport and a seven hour flight, we arrived here in Singapore at about 2:00am this morning.

 

 

Today we headed off to master the Singapore rail system which we successfully did and spent most of the day giving Gardens by the Bay a thorough workover.

 

 

We are now waiting to board our final flight, our 14^th in the last eight weeks and expect to arrive in Brisbane at 6:00am tomorrow.

As I have said on a number of occasions, what a fabulous adventure we have had. It will be hard to beat.
