Another very productive
day. Substantial progress was made on the bridge and the ladies went
to town for Paula's physio appointment. While there Trish took the
car to the windscreen repairer who told us that the damage done by a
stone kicked up by a passing truck west of Roma was terminal. The
windscreen has to be replaced. That will be a job for Darwin.
Yesterday we started with
this.
A couple of the locals
came by to supervise the work.
Tomorrow we start the long
trek north to Kakadu. Thank you Mal and Paula for a fantastic few
days- a perfect mixture of fun and productivity. Hopefully we will
get invited back for the official opening of the bridge when
finished.
