WEDNESDAY 10TH – EMBARKATION

Well, from the ridiculous to the sublime. We woke up this morning at our forested campsite and, here we are back in downtown Vancouver watching the floatplanes come and go from the verandah of our very comfortable stateroom A224.

We enjoyed a smorgasbord lunch to settle us into the process and have just had our muster drill. We have carried out a preliminary survey of the ship and have some idea of where most things are located.

As I type this the mooring lines have been released and we are heading north to Alaska.

This is probably our last view of Vancouver. We have a lot of other places we want to visit before we will get back here but it and British Columbia have treated us very well.
