We
have had an uneventful two days. The weather for the crossing of
Drake Passage was “not terrible” as described by the captain and
we have been perfectly comfortable. Looking at the numbers turning up
for meals, seasickness has obviously been much less a problem for
most passengers on the way back than it was on the way over even
though conditions were similar.
We
now have our instructions for disembarkation tomorrow morning and we
will be back in Beunos Aires tomorrow evening ready for departure to
Lima on Sunday morning.
To
keep us occupied at sea, there has been an interesting program of
lectures from the expedition guides with respect to their various
areas of expertise. We have been very well looked after, both on and
off the ship.
As
I have previously said, I am looking forward to being able to post
photos.
