The
adventure has begun. The blog is back in action.
We
have already had a little adventure in that, having sat for 45
minutes at Brisbane in a plane going nowhere, those with
international connections were asked to disembark. We were then put
on another plane and told that we would make our connection but our
luggage wouldn't. It seemed that we were doomed to arrive in
Santiago with no luggage.
Fortunately
they fixed whatever the problem was with the first plane and we were
told that it arrived in Sydney shortly after ours and that our
luggage “should” make the international flight. We certainly hope
so but presumably won't know until we get to Santiago.
Let's
hope that's the last of our air travel excitement but, given that we
are going to South America, I suspect that it won't be.
