MONDAY – HEADING FOR BUENOS AIRES

This morning we visited the viewing spots on the Brazil side of the falls before packing up and heading for the airport. As with the Argentinian side, we were able to get up close and personal with the thundering water. If anything, it appeared that the flow had strengthened.

We are very pleased that we accepted the recommendation to include Iguassu as a place which had to be visited.

It seems incredible that, since we left home on Friday, we have flown Brisbane, Sydney, Santiago, Sao Paulo, Iguassu, Sao Paulo and finally, Buenos Aires. We are becoming quite competent at negotiating airports, complying with the different countries passport procedures and shifting to different currencies as we change countries. What a weekend. I don't really recommend it but it was worth the effort to get to visit Iguassu. Fortunately, we get to slow down a bit from now on.

Tomorrow we will be doing a tour of Buenos Aires before joining the Antarctic group tomorrow evening. Then the next phase of our adventure will begin.
